School Based Traineeships
Traineeships are offered to students in their final years of school who are wishing to open up their career prospects. School based traineeships provide training coupled with practical experience to obtain a nationally recognised qualification whilst still at school.
Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage)
This certificate provides trainees with the skills and knowledge for a role in general warehousing duties. This course covers topics such as:
• Receipting
• Stock Locating
• Stock Replenishment
• Forklift Operation
• Order Picking
• Packaging
• Stocktaking
• Reconcilliation and Order Checking
• Dispatch
This traineeship, whilst still at school, opens opportunities for employment within our business after school, if you choose. This course, combined with product knowledge and services, develops the skills needed to progress within the company.
This traineeship marks the beginning of the career development program which can then be undertaken by employees in ful time positions within the company.
