Saturday 16 May, Samios branches Geebung and Tingalpa attended the XXXX Gold Doomben Cup. The branches invited customers, suppliers and staff to the event with a total of 560 attending.

Toowoomba Regional Council has developed a sustainable display home which has had over 20,000 visitors over the past two years.

Samios Toowoomba were involved in supplying product for the display home in partnerships with Caroma, Dux, Rainharvesting and Reliance.

During May, the council and suppliers were involved in a display to highlight Sustainable Housing Toowoomba.

The Sustainable Home will continue to be open and can be visited at 
308 Ramsay Street
Middle Ridge.
The Council is now embarking on a new sustainable display.

Samios treat their customer to their second annual race day.  As the race day fell on St Patrick's Day, everyone got right into the green theme, although there were a few worried punters as green is an unlucky race colour.

Green didn't seem to effect The Punters Club, who did a great job again this year, and were happy to be able to hand over a cheque for $2,600 to Little Haven Palliative care.
